Qantas (IATA Code QF) is an Australian Full Service and is also dubbed as the 2nd oldest airline in the world in terms of operating. Founded on 16 November 1920, it flew its first scheduled service on 2 November 1922. Qantas was originally founded and headquartered in the Shire of Winton in Central West Queensland, Australia which has a town called Longreach which is printed on all Qantas 747 aircraft. The word Qantas is actually an Acronym for'Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Service'.
